Woops!

I apologize for the lapse in updates...I'll try to get better, I promise.

I've been meaning to talk about our wedding photographer because I am just so excited about her work! Her name is Katie Murphy, and we went to high school together. She's been a photog since our Harpeth Hall days, and is super talented. She has just started a blog, which you can read here. We're also going to do an engagement shoot in NY sometime in May, so I will be sure to post some of those pics here after the shoot. But in the meanwhile, check out the pics on her blog!

Also, Chris's mom is insisting on doing my hair for the wedding (she's a very talented hair stylist!) So I have been looking for inspiration photos to show her, and I keep coming back to Charlize Theron. She usually has short-ish hair, and often does this really cool retro finger wave thing that is absolutely beautiful. Since I'm not really planning on growing my hair out, I think a finger wave-type look might be a really nice option:
