Garland, minus the flowers
The Purl fabric shop in Soho (http://www.purlsoho.com/purl) is one of my favorite places in the city. I wander over there many a lunch break, buying fabrics that I never get around to using for anything. I can't help it- they're all so pretty and feminine! I think I may have just come across a way to use all those fat quarters though- courtesy of the Purl Bee...

Just hang on, I'm almost there with my sewing machine fund! You keep buying fat quarters that you like and we'll whip some of these out for decorations. They are super easy.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know they had an actual store! It's a good thing I live a long way away. I've done enough damage shopping online for their fabric. Do I own a sewing machine? No. Am I thrilled to have a big pile of pretty fabric I will probably never, ever use? Absolutely.
